Vigo on the Celta

A back-pack, a friend and a train ticket for the Celta (Porto-Vigo) are all you need for an endless programme, where you can ignore the tour guides and mandatory 'have-to-sees'.

Vigo, in the extreme north west of Spain, is perfect for back-packing. There are ancient routes along the coast, night diving in the rough Atlantic, off-the-cuff live concerts and great conversations with the locals in typical taverns before heading off to the early morning markets.
