The Convent of Christ, in Tomar, headquarters of the religious and military orders, is one of the largest convents in Europe. Its main cloister is a masterpiece of Renaissance architecture and it offers a wide range of guided tours covering different topics.
The National Railway Museum, in Entroncamento, cares for a legacy of 160 years of history and covers and area of 4.5 hectares with 19 railway lines.
