The Convent of Christ is the name generally given to the series of monuments composed of the Templars' Castle in Tomar, the Convent of the Order of Christ from the Renaissance period, the convent wall, the Hermitage of the Immaculate Conception and the convent aqueduct, also called the Pegões aqueduct.
All these sites, built over centuries, make up the Convent of Christ, a superb monumental complex that deserves the UNESCO World Heritage classification it was given in 1983.

Tomar station is about a 10-minute walk from the Convent.
Individual journeys

Group travel
If you are travelling in a group of 10 people or more, you can get:

- Free guided visit (must be booked in advance, made when you book the group travel).

The Convent of Christ also offers visitors aged over 65 half-price admission and children ages 12 and under get in free.
